Completed a twelve day trek to Everest Base Camp (EBC) with Manal Rostom, the first Egyptian woman to summit Mt. Everest. We reached EBC on April 30th, 2023.

Joined a 7 day trek on the Machame Route with Rahhalah Explorers to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania on January 1st, 2023.

On January 1st, 2022, I started running with the goal of running a marathon (26.2 miles) by the time I turned 26 in July of that year. An overly ambitious (and in hindsight, quite crazy) plan but over the following 7 months I developed the strength, discipline, and ability to finish the San Francisco marathon (a very hilly course) and reached my goal time. Despite setbacks from injuries, COVID, and the challenges in maintaining a training schedule while traveling consistently that year (running in 14 different cities across 4 countries). The entire journey was such a profound experience and allowed me to develop a sense of confidence in myself I had never had before.
